Elm Fork was originally designed in 1964 as a Winchester range. Elm Fork is 471 acres, located right in the heart of the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex. The range is located just seven miles from DFW Airport and about six miles from Dallas Love Field. Elm Fork is one of the largest shooting facilities in the US! Elm Fork has three sporting clay courses. The tournament will take place on two of them the Woods and the Meadows Courses.
The championship Woods course is a thirteen station course located in some of the most pristine woods you can imagine in Dallas. “Sometimes when you shoot the Woods course you forget that you are only seven miles from the DFW airport”!
The Meadows Course is much more open, less trees. A more open course allows the shooter to receive a larger variety of targets. Normally longer distances, but more often easier to see.

Bring your Cook Trailers, Smokers, Pots and Pans! The “Cook Off” Sponsorship is available to the first 10 teams that register online. Cook Sponsors will cook the lunch meal. This meal will be served to all of the clay shoot participants and sponsors. The winner will be determined by a panel of judges.
The winner will receive:
- Their company name and logo added to the large perpetual Winner’s Trophy that they will proudly display at the 2024 Midstream Open DFW Cook Off
- A cash prize of $1000!
